Blindfold Chess Pro ("the app") is a chess visualization training game for Android. This policy explains what data the app handles and why. Short version: the game itself runs on your device; an optional account backs up your progress; ads are served by Google AdMob.

Data we collect

Without an account: nothing personal. Your training progress (XP, streaks, level stars) is stored only on your device.

If you sign in (optional, via Google or email/password through Google Firebase Authentication): we store your email address, display name, and your game progress in Google Cloud Firestore so it can be restored across devices. Your progress data is linked to your account and readable only by you.

Advertising: the app shows optional rewarded video ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as the advertising ID), approximate location derived from IP address, and ad-interaction data to serve and measure ads. Where required by law, you will be asked for consent before personalized ads are shown. See how Google uses data and the Google Privacy Policy.

What we do NOT do

We do not sell your data. We do not collect contacts, precise location, photos, files, microphone, or camera data. The app contains no third-party analytics SDKs.

Data deletion

You can delete your account and all cloud data at any time inside the app: Profile → Delete account & all data. This permanently removes your account and your saved progress from our servers. You can also request deletion by email at the address below.

Data security & retention

Account and progress data are stored in Google Firebase (Google Cloud) and encrypted in transit. Progress data is kept until you delete your account. Local device data is removed when you uninstall the app.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date.

Merchant, products and payments

Blindfold Chess Pro is developed, published and operated by Aurel Interactive, which is the merchant of record for this application.

Products and services sold: the app is free to download. It offers optional digital in-app products only — no physical goods are sold or shipped:

• Pro subscription (auto-renewing, monthly or annual): unlocks all 18 training modes instantly, removes all advertising, and provides unlimited hints, unlimited free peeks during blindfold games, and unlimited engine game analysis.
• Pawns (one-time, consumable): in-app virtual currency used inside the app to buy hints, revives, peeks, streak freezes, Focus refills and collectible avatars.

Payment gateway: all purchases are processed exclusively through Google Play Billing inside the Google Play Store app. We do not collect, process or store card numbers, bank details or any other payment credentials ourselves, and we accept no payments through any other method or channel. Subscriptions are managed and cancelled through your Google Play account.
